At the age of 98, Louise Tobin is embarking on a new career as one of the founders and Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Golden Digital Network. She began her singing career in 1932 and was the number one singer in the land while singing with The Benny Goodman Band. Her biggest hit with Goodman was ‘There’ll Be Some Changes Made’, which was number two on the Hit Parade in 1939-40 for 15 weeks. She had a long and successful career, and in 2008 she donated her extensive collection of original musical arrangements, press clippings, programs, recordings, playbills and photographs to create the Louise Tobin and Peanuts Hucko Jazz Collection at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Louise was celebrated with an honorary doctorates degree from the University in 2011.
